When: Sundays at 10:00 AM
Where: YMCA Rob Chapman Center
What should I expect when I arrive?
Someone will greet you at the door, answer questions, and help you get acquainted. Don’t worry. There will be good coffee available. And everyone at Gathering wears name tags on Sunday mornings, so you won’t have to remember everyone’s name.
What is worship like?
Our worship follows the historic pattern of gathering around Scripture, prayer, preaching, singing, and Holy Communion. You don’t need to be familiar with Anglican worship before you come. Everything you need to participate is provided and made easy to follow.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans to dress clothes.
What about children?
Children are welcome in worship, and nursery is provided for children four and under.
We don’t see children as distractions but as fellow participants in worship. They learn by participating with us. Play space and activities packs are available for active kids.
What is the music like?
We sing a mix of classic and modern hymns—songs that are rich in theological truth, singable for the whole congregation, and centered on the good news of Jesus.
Typically led by guitar or keyboard, we hope that our music encourages the congregation to lift its eyes to the Lord, engage deeply with His truth, and respond to His grace.
How long is the service?
Approximately 75 minutes.
Is There Communion?
Yes. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly.
Anyone who has received Jesus by faith and has been baptized into His Church is invited to receive Communion.
If you are not a Christian or wish not to receive for any reason, you can come forward with your arms crossed across your chest, and we will gladly pray blessing over you. Or simply remain seated.
Do I need to be Anglican?
No. You are welcome whether you’re exploring Christianity, coming from another Christian tradition, or already deeply familiar with Anglican worship.
What happens after worship?
Stick around if you can.
Talk with someone. Meet some people. Ask questions. Let us know what brought you.
Gathering is more than a Sunday service. We want to be a community where people are known, loved, challenged, encouraged, and equipped to follow Jesus together.
What if I still have questions?
Please ask.
Questions are welcome at Gathering.
You can talk with one of our pastors or leaders on Sunday, or contact us before you visit.
We’d love to see you Sunday.
You don’t need to know the Anglican tradition.
You don’t need to dress a certain way.
You don’t need to have your life together.
Just come.
