We’re glad you’re here.
If you’re thinking about visiting Gathering, you probably have some questions.
What is an Anglican church like? What should I wear? What happens with my kids? Where do I go? Will I know anyone?
We want to make your first visit as easy as possible.
When and where do you meet?
Sundays at 10:00 AM
YMCA Rob Chapman Center
151 Ribault St.
Spartanburg, SC
The YMCA Rob Chapman Center is accessible directly from Pine St. You will see a parking lot with a new playground in front of the building.
What about my kids?
Children are an important part of Gathering.
We believe children are members of the Body of Christ and should be welcomed into the life and worship of the Church.
While all kids are welcome in the service, nursery is available for children four and under. Little ones can be dropped off for nursery in the main YMCA building as early as 9:45 and will be brought back to the service prior to Communion.
Gathering Kids offers Sunday morning discipleship at 8:45 am in the main YMCA building for children 3 and up.
Do I need to be Anglican?
No.
You don’t need to be Anglican to visit Gathering.
You may be coming from another Christian tradition. You may be looking for a church after years away. You may have questions about Christianity. You may simply be curious about Anglicanism.
You are welcome here.
If you’d like to know more about why we’re Anglican, we’d love to tell you.
What do I need to believe?
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and life at its best is found in following Him. We also believe that honest questions are part of growing in faith.
Come listen. Come ask questions. Come worship.
Still have questions?
We’d be glad to help.
We’d love to meet you this Sunday.
